Some Spooktacular Halloween Art we created......
School year 2018/19
we had lots of fun during science week
Halloween fun day
We were learning all about Halloween in 1st and 2nd. We learned about traditional Halloween games and even got to try them out! We also created some fantastic art pieces using pastels and chalk!
We were learning about hot-air balloons and made some fantastic ones of our own!
We created fantastic pieces of work for the Church for our Christmas Prayer Service.
We created animals using leaves! Amazing!
We were learning about the seasons. Look at the fantastic posters we made showing what we learned about the seasons.
We created wonderful art pieces with our names! Our names make us special and unique!
We all made jigsaws in 1st and 2nd class. Each jigsaw shows our favourite things and our name. Each one is different just like us!
They are in a jigsaw as we all fit together in our class just like pieces of a jigsaw.
We were using scales today to help us learn about weight. We talked about what was lighter and heavier and of equal weight.
On St. Brigid's Day, 1st and 2nd class made St. Brigid's crosses from rushes. Thank you to 5th and 6th class who helped us and showed great leadership and teamwork! Also, a big thank you to Ms. Forde's dad who sourced and cut the rushes to size. They turned out beautifully, well done everyone!
- January 2017 - We were very busy making New Years Resolutions!! Let's hope we can stick to them!:)
May 2016 - we were recently learning about the Stone Age. the children made fantastic Stone age projects in groups.
Here is a look around Ms. Forde's classroom!
